Levita Rohlman, Garden City’s director of the local Catholic Agency for Migration and Refugee Services, will be on the Fort Hays State University campus at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, in the Memorial Union’s Stouffer Lounge.
Rohlman will discuss current immigration issues and her experiences working with immigrants for more than 30 years.
Rohlman has overseen the resettlement of thousands of Vietnamese and other Southeast Asian families throughout the southwest Kansas region. She will answer questions after her presentation.
The lecture is sponsored by the Global Leadership Project, the American Democracy Project and the Office of Diversity Affairs in the Center for Student Involvement.
