Two from NW Kan. injured in Friday I-70 rollover

KHPGOODLAND — Two people were injured in a Friday rollover crash in Sherman County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol Reported a 1988 Chevy Blazer  driven by Stacy Helus, 50, Colby, was eastbound in the right lane on Interstate 70, 13 miles west of Goodland, when the rear left tire became flat.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, traveled through the south ditch and rolled. The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side facing north.

Helus and a passenger, Larry Lynn Hensley, 62, Oakley, were transported to the hospital in Burlington, Colo.

The KHP reported Hensley was not wearing a seat belt.
