Beginning today, the alley on the north side of 27th Street between Hickory and Ash will be closed to thorough traffic, the city of Hays announced today in a news release.

Brackney Construction will be pouring concrete for a Midwest Energy project. Repairs are expected to be completed by Tuesday.
