The TMP-Marian boys track and field team had two first place finishes, three second places and two more who came in third as they win the Ellsworth Invitational Tuesday. The Monarchs scored 97 points and finished 20 points ahead for second place Russell and 23 better than Southeast of Saline.
Sam Dreiling and Cameron Fouts were the Monarchs two first place finishers. Dreiling winning the pole vault (13-00) and Fouts the javelin (182-01).
Ryan Mayorga finished second in the high jump (6-00). Skyler Urban was second in the triple jump (40-11.50) and the 4×800 relay team consisting of Andrew Hess, Mark Loftus, Tyelr Rueschoff and Matt Mindrup also finsihed second (9:25.32).
Joe Flax and Aaron Moore both brought home third place finishes. Flax in the 300 hurdles (44.29) and Moore the discus (132-01).
The TMP girls finished seventh, scoring 40 points. The Monarchs had three third place finishes. Kendra Werth in the 100 hurdles, Mikaela Flax in the 300 hurdles and Kayla Walker in the 3200 meters.
