Trinity Lutheran Church will have a benefit barbecue from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday.

Proceeds will benefit ARC of the Central Plains.

The meal will include smoked meats, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad and desserts.

A freewill offering will be collected. Funds collected (up to $500) will be matched by Thrivent Financial Services-Stone Post Chapter.

The funds will be used to help ARC continue to support the Special Olympics and will help athletes participate in softball tournaments for the first time.
