The Ellis County Commission will meet in regular session at 5 p.m. Monday at the Ellis County Courthouse.
On the agenda is discussion of a tax refund and adjusting the tax rolls, the result of a recent court decision that will see the county refunding more than $650,000 because of improperly levied taxes.
The county also will discuss reimbursement policies for business meals, refreshments and mileage.
The agenda also includes discussion of a special event permit that would allow the sale of beer at the Harold L. Dorzweiler Memorial event, scheduled for the Ellis County Fairgrounds on Sept 20 and 21.
