ELLIS — The newly elected Ellis City Council members will be sworn in at tonight’s meeting. Three positions were filled following the April 1 election.
The meeting is scheduled to begin with a work session at 7 p.m. The regular session begins at 7:30 p.m.
Incumbent John A. Walz and former mayor David McDaniel were elected to the council, joined by Gary Luea.
Ron Johnson, the fourth-place finisher, was appointed by Mayor Lyle Johnston to fill to fill the remaining one-year term left vacant by John Leiker.
