The Hays High boys soccer team defeats Winfield 2-1 in double overtime to advance to the second round of their 5A regional.

Shane Sulzman scored the game winner off an assist from Lane Clark in the 98th minute.

Winfield scored in third minute to grab the early lead. The Indians tallied the equalizer in the 30th minute on a header from Kellen Griffin.

The 8-9 Indians will now meet either Great Bend or Andover Thursday at six o’clock in Great Bend.
