Sunny, warm Monday

Screen Shot 2014-05-05 at 5.02.09 AMA weak cold front will continue to move south across Kansas today with highs ranging from the low 80s near Hays to the low 90s near the Oklahoma and Colorado borders. The heat is back on for Tuesday and Wednesday with elevated to critical fire weather conditions and highs in the mid to upper 90s. A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible in parts of south central Kansas late Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night ahead of the next cold front

Tonight Partly cloudy, with a low around 53. East wind 10 to 14 mph.
Tuesday Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 94. East northeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 57. South wind 9 to 13 mph.
Wednesday Sunny, with a high near 93. Windy, with a southwest wind 9 to 14 mph increasing to 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 56. Windy.
Thursday A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 8am. Mostly sunny, with a high near 73.
