Game 1: Hoisington 15, TMP 0  (4 Innings)
Hoisington sophomore pitcher Karissa Schremmer pitched a perfect four inning game in the first round of the Mid Central Activities Association Tournament, shutting out TMP 15-0.  The Lady Cardinals scored five runs in the bottom of the first inning, two in the bottom of the second, four in the bottom of the third and finished off the run rule with three more runs in the bottom of the fourth.

TMP sent only 12 batters to plate in the game.  Not a single Lady Monarch reached base.

Game 2: Ellinwood 14, TMP 13  (8 Innings)
A back and fourth game needed extra innings to decide the finish with Ellinwood winning the game on an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning.  The TMP Lady Monarchs had leads of 5-1 and 6-3 before Ellinwood scored six straight runs to take a 9-6 lead heading into the seventh inning.

TMP would put seven runs on the board, capped off by a two run single by freshman Katelyn Zimmerman.  Ellinwood scored four runs in the bottom of the inning to send it to extra innings.

TMP had a chance to take the lead in the top of the eighth inning but had a runner thrown at home plate to end the threat and Ellinwood picked up the win with their run in the bottom of the inning.

The Monarchs are now 7-13 on the season.
