PLAINVILLE—Two people were injured in a Friday afternoon crash in Rooks County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1990 International truck driven by Colton T. Wise, 18, Plainville and a 2002 GMC Sierra driven by Desaire, Stephen J. Desaire, 34 Palco were traveling north on U.S. 183 six miles north of Plainville.

Both vehicles attempted to turn east on County Road Q . The driver of the Sierra lost control and struck the International and overturned.

Wise and Desaire were transported to the Rooks County Health Center for treatment.

The KHP reported both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
