Dorrance search warrant results in meth arrest

DORRANCE — At approximately 10 a.m. Monday, the Russell County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, executed a search warrant in the 900 block of North Lincoln Avenue, Dorrance. After the search, the officers arrested Brandy Clevenger on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

During the search, officials also reported locating several items that appeared to be stolen. Officers called the Russell Police Department to look at the items, and they executed a separate search warrant at the same location. Several items were seized.

Clevenger was transported to the Russell County jail for processing. All information from the search warrant has been forwarded to the county attorney.
