LARNED- Two people from Larned were injured in a Saturday ATV accident in Pawnee County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported two 4 wheelers were headed southbound on mix strip in the 900 Block of Road M.

One Artic Cat 4 Wheeler driven by Nicholas David Snyder, 20, failed to recognize asphalt pile and impacted the pile. The vehicle rolled 1 time, ejecting both occupants and came to rest on its wheels.

Snyder and a passenger Adrienne Lynne Walker, 19, were transported to the Pawnee Valley Community Hospital.

The KHP report did not indicate if they were wearing helmets.
