Cheylin West High School

Connor Hazuka, a 2014 Cheylin West High School graduate, accepted a $900 Academic Opportunity Award in agriculture and a $700 Fort Hays Bronze Academic Award. Hazuka, son of Dale Jr. and Stacey Hazuka, McDonald, plans to major in agronomy.

Jose Ponce, a 2012 Cheylin High School graduate and a Garden City Community College transfer student, accepted a $1,000 Transfer Student Award. Ponce, son of Roberto and Guadalupe Ponce, McDonald, plans to major in marketing.
