The Hays Police Department responded to an early morning accident at approximately 8 a.m. this morning.

The accident, which involved a pickup and a car, happened at the intersection of 13th and Allen streets, and it appeared both drivers were uninjured at the scene, although official reports of the incident were unavailable.

The accident temporarily closed Allen Street south of 13th Street.
