Northwest Kansas driver injured in truck rollover accident

Screen Shot 2014-05-20 at 9.53.00 AMCOLBY—A Kansas man was injured in a rollover accident just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Ford F350 driven by Michael W. Mathis, 29, Colby was traveling northbound on Kansas 25 three miles south of Colby.

For an unknown reason, the vehicle entered the east ditch where it struck a field access road and rolled an unknown number of times.

Mathis was transported to Citizens Medical Center.

The KHP reported he was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
