Early rainfall reports from Wednesday night’s rainfall show anywhere from 0.77 inches in southeast Ellis County to 4.21 inches on the Ness-Trego county line.

Another report of 2.25 inches came in from just east of Ellis, with eastern Trego County reporting 3.25 inches.

The official report from K-State’s Ag Research Center in Hays was 1.09 inches, bringing the June rainfall total to 6.39 inches. For the calendar year, the Research Center has reported 9.37 inches of rain.

A report from Hays showed 1.28 inches of rain in the gauge Thursday morning.

La Crosse received just more than an inch of rain, according to early reports.
