SALINA, Kan. (AP) — The Saline County sheriff says the department’s investigation into sexual harassment claims won’t result in charges against the county’s health director.
Sheriff Glen Kochanowski told The Salina Journal his office has finished investigating allegations by a former colleague about Saline County Health Department director Bronson Farmer.
The woman alleged that Farmer sexually harassed her in 2006, when they both worked at the health department. No charges were filed at the time.
Farmer has denied the allegations.
The sheriff reopened the case earlier this year because some people involved in the original investigation weren’t interviewed.
But Kochanowski said Thursday the interviews have been conducted, and the investigation has concluded without any changes from the previous case.
