CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Astronauts are spacewalking 260 miles above Earth.

Two of the Russians aboard the International Space Station crew floated outside Thursday to install a new antenna and move a cargo boom. Alexander Skvortsov and Oleg Artemiev  will also switch out some science experiments.

It’s the first spacewalk for the two men. Russia’s Mission Control outside Moscow is directing all the action.

Six men live on the space station. The crew includes three Russians, two Americans and one German. The Americans are supposed to venture out on NASA-led spacewalks in August. Skvortsov and Artemiev also have another spacewalk scheduled for August.
