HUTCHINSON, Kan- A teenage driver was injured in a Tuesday afternoon accident in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Michaela D. Hyman, 18, Concordia, was northbound on Kansas 61 three miles north of Hutchinson.

The driver lost control on a rain slickened highway, hydroplaned, went into the median, and overturned.

Hyman was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

The KHP reported she was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
