GREAT BEND- One driver was injured in a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon in Barton County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Chevy Silverado pickup driven by Gary E. Davis, 49, Great Bend was westbound on U.S. 281 2 miles north of Great Bend.

The truck attempted to turn onto Point Drive and struck an eastbound 1993 Chevy 2500 pickup driven by Joshua L. Gisick, 35, Odin, causing the Silverado to roll onto its top.

Davis was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital. Gisick was not injured.

The KHP reported both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
