June continues to provide much-needed moisture to the parched region, with another front delivering more than 2 inches of rain to parts of Ellis County.

Reports from Hays ranged from 1.5 to 1.7 inches in the overnight storm, while a report from eastern Ellis County was at 2.5 inches.

There also was a report of nearly 3 inches from Ness County.
