GARDEN CITY- A Kansas man died in a 2-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon in Finney County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Volkswagen Passat driven by Ronald Blatnick, 56, Wichita was westbound on U.S. 50. His vehicle went left of center and struck an eastbound 2012 Kenworth semi-truck driven by David Peterson, 44, Phoenix, Az.,

Blatnick and Peterson were transported to St Catherine Hospital. Blatnick was pronounced dead just after 5 p.m.

The KHP reported both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
