Kansas voters will go to the polls Tuesday for the 2014 primary election. The ballot includes mid-term Congressional elections, state races and local contests.

In the Hays area, there are just a handful of contested local races:

Polls in Hays will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 5.  Advance voting is available at the Ellis County Courthouse until noon Monday.
