Ulysess, Kan- Two Kansas men were injured in an accident just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday in Grant County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Freightliner semi driven by Angel N. Salas, 33, Ulysses, was southbound on County Road X eighteen miles northeast of Ulysses and failed to yield at County Road 11. The semi collided with an eastbound 1985 International truck driven by Jorge A. Dominguez-Gonzalez, 20, Garden City.

Salas and Dominguez-Gonzalez were transported to St. Catherine’s Hospital.

The KHP reported neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
