MCPHERSON-  Two adults and a child were injured in an accident just after 2 p.m. on Sunday in McPherson County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 passenger vehicle driven by Edward G. Chester, 61, Los Lunas, NM., was northbound on Kansas 61 two miles south of McPherson. The vehicle was attempting to turn on to Interstate 135.  The vehicle missed the turn, left the roadway and entered a field.

Chester and one passenger David W. Chester, 29, Los Lunas, NM., were transported to McPherson Memorial Hospital.  A child in the vehicle was transported to Wesley Medical Center.

 

The KHP reported all were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
