An overnight front early Tuesday morning brought significant lightning and gusting wind to the area, but little rainfall.

Early reports show no precipitation fell in Hays, with just 0.06 in a gauge north of Ellis.

Osborne County saw the highest rainfall total in the region, with an early report of 0.45 inches.

Russell County had an early report of 0.24 inches, while a Ness County report of 0.15 inches was recorded.

There is a slim chance for more storms on Tuesday, although the rest of the week is expected to be hot, windy and dry.
