Skies will be partly cloudy today with a high  near 96 with an overnight low of around 70.

A weak cold front will move into the high plains region later today, this will bring slight chances for afternoon and evening thunderstorms mainly for locations north of Interstate 70.

The heat will continue over north central Kansas, at least through Tuesday. A better chance of thunderstorms is expected Sunday night through Wednesday.
