Hays USD 489

The central office administrative team of USD 489 soon will be seeking applicants to fill a vacancy left by the recent resignation of Elizabeth Jaeger.

Jaeger has been with the district since January 2007 and will be joining the corporate team at Eagle Communications, as corporate brand manager in late September. Jaeger’s last day with the district will be Sept. 12.

“It is an exciting time for my family and me. It is a great opportunity to be able to continue to work somewhere that makes such an impact in our community and I am very eager to join the Eagle Communications team,” Jaeger said. “As I leave USD 489, I leave a better person than when I first began. The staff of USD 489 are not only my colleagues but my friends and many have served as mentors for me throughout the years with the district.  I will always be one of USD 489’s biggest supporters and I know that the board, administrative team and staff will always keep the best interest of the education of our children at the forefront of their decisions.”
