With the completion of the 2014 Farm Bill and given the complexity and decisions that will eventually have to be made by farmers, Art Barnaby, K-State Risk Management specialist, will give a webinar update on the farm bill.

Barnaby will discuss the tradeoffs between selecting the Price Loss Coverage vs. Agricultural Risk Coverage for the new farm bill sign-up.

Time also will be spent on a commodity program computer decision aid tool developed by Oklahoma State and K-State Risk Management specialists. The program is a decision aid that covers all program crops, states and counties.

The brief webinar will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Hays Agricultural Research Center. No RSVP is necessary to attend, and all interested people are invited.
