Another storm will track though the region on Friday, bringing with it chances for rain and thunderstorms.

Plenty of uncertainty exists with respect to timing and intensity. Once the storm exists the region on Saturday, a moderate pressure gradient and strong jet aloft will lead to strong northwest winds over western and central Kansas.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 67. West northwest wind 7 to 9 mph becoming south southeast.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 39. South southeast wind between 9 and 16 mph.

Thanksgiving Day: Sunny, with a high near 69. Windy, with a south southwest wind between 18 and 28 mph.
