Julieta S. (Lola) Ruperto
Hays, Kansas – Julieta S. (Lola) Ruperto, age 94, died Saturday, November 19, 2011, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, Kansas. She was born July 7, 1917, at Isabella Negros Occ., Philippines, to Sotaro and Rosela (Diamante) Sakamoto.

She was a homemaker. She grew up in the Philippines and came to the United States in 1975. She lived in Virginia and California before moving
to Kansas in 1979. She lived in Natoma then moved to Hays in 2004. Survivors include one son, Dominador Ruperto Jr. and wife, Lupe, Chula
Vista, CA; five daughters, Felisa Clair and husband, Bill, Hays, KS; Filomena Llanes and husband, Leonardo, Long Beach, CA; Milagros Tenorio, Natoma, KS; Nellie Santos, Hays, KS; Ligaya (Joy) Tauro and husband, Conrado, Natoma, KS; one step daughter, Vicky Ramos Ocala, FL; 22 grandchildren; 15 step grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, one son, Francis Ruperto; one step son, Manuel Ruperto; three step daughters, Evangeline Seva, Fatima Ruperto, Celia Ruperto; three grandchildren, Alex Santos, Catherina Tenorio, Geo Gwyn Tenorio.

Services are 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at the Plainville Church of the Nazarene, 109 S. Meridian Street. Burial in the Natoma Cemetery, Natoma, Kansas.

Visitation is from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Cline’s Mortuary of Hays 1919 East 22nd Street Hays. Kansas 67671, and from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Plainville Church Of the Nazarene.
