Another upper system will approach the region early Friday.
This system will bring a chance of rain showers across the entire area and isolated thunderstorms across portions. Chances range from around 30 percent near the Colorado line, to 60 percent over central Kansas. The time window for precipitation Will be rather short, focusing on Friday afternoon and early Friday evening.
A strong cold front will then be ushered into the area, creating breezy conditions overnight Friday. On Saturday, strong northwest winds of 30 to 40 mph will last from late morning to late afternoon.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 36. South wind between 8 and 10 mph.
Thanksgiving Day: Sunny, with a high near 70. Windy, with a south southwest wind 11 to 14 mph increasing to between 23 and 26 mph. Winds could gust as high as 36 mph.
Thursday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 42. South southwest wind between 8 and 13 mph.
Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 3pm. Cloudy, with a high near 57. West southwest wind between 3 and 10 mph.
