
GREAT BEND- Barton County Sheriff’s officers have been investigating a series of burglaries that culminated in several arrests and the execution of a search warrant.
On October 24, Sheriff’s officers were alerted to suspicious activity near several salvage yards north of Great Bend.
Sheriff’s officer responded and discovered two businesses that had been burglarized. One suspect was arrested at the scene.
On Tuesday, one suspect was located at a metal recycling business attempting to sell stolen property.

Several property owners were contacted during the course the investigation and were able to identify items taken from their business.
A substantial amount of stolen property was located at Barton County residence and officers arrested Kyle A. Dreiling, 29, Great Bend.
He is being held in the Barton County jail on several counts of burglary and theft.

Gregory C Keenan, 52, Great Bend, was arrested on Tuesday. He is being held on several counts of burglary, theft, firearm violations, and drug charges.
