MANHATTAN- Two people were injured in an accident just before 12:30 p.m. on Sunday in Riley County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Nissan driven by Tosan Ehiguese, 26, Manhattan, was westbound on Interstate 70 eight miles east of the Manhattan exit.

The Nissan made a lane change, the driver lost control and stuck a 1998 Chevy SUV driven by Elizabeth C. Dodd, 52, Manhattan. Both vehicles entered the north ditch and the Nissan overturned.

Dodd was transported to Mercy Regional Medical Center.

The KHP reported Ehiguese was possibly injured and both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
