Fort Hays State held Bethel scoreless for 6:17 of the first half and without a field goal for 10:19 in building a 41 point lead and defeat the Threshers 103-54 Saturday afternoon at Gross Coliseum. Bethel hung with the Tigers early, trailing 10-8, but FHSU responded with a 25-2 run including 22 unanswered to take control.
With the win, the Tigers improve to 2-2. The game counts as an exhibition for the Threshers who were playing their third road game in three days.
