KFIX Rock News: Bob Dylan Plays To Audience Of One

4494759210_1391fc967f_mPHILADELPHIA (AP) – Bob Dylan played Philadelphia’s Academy of Music on Sunday and one person showed up. Rolling Stone reports Fredrik Wikingsson was the lone audience member, and it was by design.

The event was part of a Swedish film series called “Experiment Ensam,” meaning “Experiment Alone,” and it’s about people experiencing things alone when usually there’s a crowd.

Dylan and his band were paid an undisclosed amount of money to play four songs for just Wikingsson.

Wikingsson says during the second song he yelled out “You guys sound great!” and Dylan laughed.

Wikingsson says the birth of his two children were great but making Dylan laugh onstage was “unbelievable.”

The 15-minute film will be released on YouTube on December 15.
