The Ellis County Ministerial Alliance’s Thanksgiving Feast served more than 550 guests on Thursday.

More than 100 volunteers helped serve at the eighth annual ECMA event, held at the Rose Garden banquet hall.

In addition, more than 135 takeout and delivery meals were served, and those in need left with more than 500 sacks of groceries collected last weekend by the congregation of Celebration Community Church.

Celebration Pastor Kyle Ermoian offered his thanks to the Rose Garden and its staff, along with fellow hosts Celeste Lasich and Dennis Wilson of First Presbyterian; Linda Mills of First Call For Help; organ grinder Tom Griffiths; and all of the volunteers.
