Due to a computer issue, tax statements are being delayed, according to a news release Friday from Ellis County Treasurer Ann Pfeifer.

The office anticipates statements will be in mailboxes Friday, Dec. 5.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause,” the office said. “The website should have tax amounts online at www.e-treasury.us by Tuesday, Dec. 2. The system is currently in the process of rolling the records for us to be able to view and collect. If you need your tax amount immediately, feel free to contact our office on or after Dec. 1, and we will be happy to look them up for you. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.”
