HALSTEAD,  — A Kansas man was injured in an accident while walking on along a Harvey County highway just after 10 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Kansas High way patrol reported Timothy Black, 34, Hutchinson, was walking along U.S. 50 just east of Hertzler Road north of Halstead.

A westbound Pontiac Grand-Am driven by Devon S. Liniger, 17, Halstead, hit Black. Lingler’s car left the road and ended up in the ditch.

Black was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. Lingler was not injured.
