SUBLETTE- A Kansas man was injured in an accident just after 1p.m. on Saturday in Haskell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2000 Toyota passenger vehicle driven by Hugo Chavez-Garcia, 31, Garden City, was pulling a trailer southbound on U.S. 83 one mile north of Sublette.

The vehicle was traveling too fast for road conditions due to snowpack. The driver lost control and started a side skid.

A northbound 2006 Dodge passenger vehicle struck the trailer behind the Toyota.

The driver of the Dodge Bob William Dean, 31, Garden City, was transported to Satanta District Hospital.
The KHP reported Chavez-Garcia and a passenger were not injured and were not wearing seat belts.
