OGALLAH – A Kansas teen was injured in an accident just after 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday in Trego County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Ford Taurus driven by Devontae Goldsby, 18, Ogallah, was west bound on Interstate 70 seven miles west of WaKeeney.

The vehicle traveled onto the north shoulder. The driver overcorrected, crossed both lanes of the interstate and hit the guardrail after spinning backwards.

Goldsby was transported to Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The KHP reported he was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
