COLBY – A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 5 p.m. on Friday in Thomas County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Jeep passenger vehicle driven by Bailey Shaniel Williams, 21, Colby, was traveling in the 100 Block of South Range just south of the U.S. 24 and Kansas 25 junction in Colby.

The vehicle was attempting to turn into an apartment complex.

A 2004 Toyota passenger vehicle driven by Pricilla Wina Mangunson, 20, Aurora, CO., rear-ended the Jeep.

Williams was transported to Citizen’s Medical Center. Mangunson was not injured.

The KHP reported both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
