The newest member of the Ellis County Commission will be sworn in Monday evening, part of the 2015 reorganization process.

Commissioner-elect Marcy McClelland will be sworn in and commissioners will be appointed to various board or committees.
McClelland will be named the commission chairwoman, and Commissioner Dean Haselhorst will be designated as vice chairman.
The commission will also approve appointments to the Fair Board, Fire Advisory Board, Fire Chiefs and Assistant Chiefs.
In other business:
The commission will discuss a contract with the Kansas Department of Transportation to replace two Ellis County bridges that the county has received grants for. The bridges are located on Emmeram Road just west of Yocemento Rodge and on the South County line west of Pfeifer.
The commission is expected to approve a resolution naming the county commission as the Board of Zoning Appeals. At the Jan. 5 meeting, the commission previously discussed appointed the commission as members of the board.
County Administrator Greg Sund will discuss the need for additional parking spaces at the 718 Main Administrative Center.
McClelland will be sworn-in as commissioner at 4:50 p.m.
