BEELER – A Kansas man died in an accident just before 11 a.m. on Sunday in Ness County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Peterbilt semi driven by Jason Louis Conroy, 31, Hanston, was westbound on 80 Road five miles southeast of Beeler.

The truck entered the north ditch. The driver over corrected and the truck entered the south ditch coming to rest on its top.

Conroy was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Fitzgerald Funeral Home in Ness City.

The KHP reported he was not wearing a seat belt.
