ELLIS – A man from Oakley was injured in an accident just before 9 p.m. on Thursday in Ellis County

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Dodge Stratus driven by David W. Cook, 58, Oakley, was westbound on Interstate 70 just west of Ellis.

The driver lost control of the vehicle. It entered the north ditch and rolled.

Cook was transported to Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital.

The KHP reported he was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
