A retirement reception for Tom Thomas is scheduled this week at Commerce Bank.

Thomas spent nearly a quarter-century at the bank. He retired as market president at the end of 2013 and has spent the last year serving in an advisory capacity.

He was replaced by Deron O’Connor on Jan. 1, 2014.

The reception is scheduled for 1:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Commerce Bank, 2200 Vine. The public is invited to the event.
