Hays, Kansas – Marco H. Zamboni, age 88, died Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Via Christi  Village Care Center, Hays, Kansas.

He was born June 12, 1926, at Rock Springs, Wyoming to Marco and Edith (Zambi) Zamboni.

He married Pauline (Stokes) in 1954 at Wichita, Kansas.  She died January 24, 2002.

He was an electrical engineer and worked for Boeing for 30 years.  He was a WWII Navy veteran  and spent most of his adult life in Wichita.  He moved to Hays, in 2013.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the 3rd and 4th degree Knights of Columbus and the Rolling Hills Country Club all of Wichita.
Survivors include one son, Wallace and wife, Tammy, Stockton, KS; two daughters, Jennifer Boyle, Jacksonville, FL; Michelle Zamboni, Newark DE; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and one sister.

Private services and inurnment will be at a later date. Cline’s Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601 is in charge of arrangements.
