The Hays High girls soccer team built a 3-0 halftime lead on goals from CJ Norris, Maddie Keller and Tressa Beckerand went on to defeat Liberal 4-1 Thursday in Liberal. The Indians scored their first two goals on headers. Brooke Russell scored in the second half. The only Redskin goal came on a penalty kick. HHS improves to 3-6-1 overall and 1-3-1 in the Western Athletic Conference.

The TMP-Marian girls soccer team moved to 6-2 with a 3-0 victory over Great Bend Thursday. The Indians and Monarchs will face off against each other next Thursday at Hays High School.
