The National Weather Service did issue a tornado warning for a part of northwest McPherson County after a spotter reported a funnel cloud near Marquette about 4:25 p.m.

There were no reports of any funnels reaching the ground.

Thunderstorms also produced hail to the size of quarters and half dollars in parts of central Kansas along with heavy rain that prompted the weather service to issue flood warning into Monday evening for some counties in central Kansas.
